Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2026 · Controller: WMIE S.R.L. — see the Privacy Policy for full company details.
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser to remember something about you — a preference, a session, a visit. This page lists every cookie this site can set, what it is for, and how long it lives. The short version: nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs until you say yes.
How consent works here
- On your first visit a banner offers Accept, Reject, and Customize (per-category choices). Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Until you choose, every Google Consent Mode v2 signal is set to denied by default: no analytics or marketing tag stores anything.
- Your choice is saved in the first-party
cc_cookiefor 6 months, after which the banner asks again — the interval Italian Garante guidance indicates. - You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer or the floating cookie button in the bottom-left corner.
Categories
- Necessary. Required for the site to work — storing your consent choice. Always active. The CMS also sets an authentication cookie for site editors who log in to the admin panel; regular visitors never receive it.
- Analytics. Traffic and usage statistics (Google Analytics via Tag Manager).
- Marketing. Advertising cookies: conversion measurement and, if granted, personalized advertising.
- Functional. Extra features such as embedded content. Currently none are in use; the category exists so a future addition still requires your consent.
The cookies
| Cookie | Category | Provider | Duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cc_cookie | Necessary | Collaudo (first-party) | 6 months | Stores your consent choices so the banner does not re-ask on every visit. |
| _ga | Analytics | Up to 2 years¹ | Distinguishes visitors for traffic statistics. | |
| _ga_* | Analytics | Up to 2 years¹ | Keeps session state for Google Analytics 4. | |
| _gid | Analytics | 24 hours | Distinguishes visitors within a day. | |
| _gcl_au and other ad cookies | Marketing | ~3 months | Attributes ad clicks to conversions. |
¹ Browsers commonly cap first-party cookie lifetimes at around 13 months, so the real duration may be shorter. Google cookies are set only after you grant the matching category; the exact set depends on the tags active in our Google Tag Manager container at any given time.
Third parties
Analytics and marketing cookies are set by Google. How Google uses the data is described in Google's privacy policy and Google's cookie documentation. Transfers to Google LLC in the United States are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision.
Browser controls
Independently of our banner, every browser lets you block or delete cookies — site-by-site or globally — from its privacy settings. Deleting the cc_cookie makes the consent banner appear again on your next visit.
